‘Rambunctious folk and joyous elemental pop’ The Guardian

Over the last 15 years, Keston Cobblers Club have been steadily building a name for themselves. Their debut album ‘One, For Words’ came in 2012, quietly released, independently, as a digital download followed by two EPs, ‘A Scene of Plenty’ and 2014’s ‘A Pocket Guide to Escaping’. Then in 2015 came ‘Wildfire’ the album which won them huge praise everywhere from BBC Legends such as Steve Lamacq and Bob Harris, MOJO Magazine, The Guardian, The Independent and The Financial Times to Songlines, fRoots and Clash, with their albums, ‘Almost Home’, ‘Siren’ and ‘Anthem of the Alchemist’, further increasing their following, with great industry praise and a supporting European headline tour.

‘Beautiful’ Lauren Laverne, BBC Radio 1

‘Every song is an absolute killer’ Dermot O’Leary BBC Radio 2

Their live shows are displays of genuine warmth and dazzling musicianship, honed over years of playing some of the UK’s biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, Bestival, Cambridge Folk Festival, Wilderness and Green Man.. As well as numerous headline tours around Europe and arena support tours with the likes of Paul Heaton, Bellowhead.

The band was formed and based on the folklore of the old, penniless cobbler of Keston. His business was struggling and he would cheer himself up by throwing barn dances for the villagers. The rip-roaring dancing would wear out the soles of the villagers’ shoes, and so the cobbler was never short of work again! And just like the Cobbler…

Keston Cobblers Club will heel your soles.
