COME ONE COME ALL TO THE FIRST EVER ENSEMBLEUGH GIG!

Ensembleugh are a brand new, nondenominational, vocal-led ensemble, somewhere between an orchestra, a choir and a band. We are comprised of a mix of musicians, trained or untrained, with a broad definition of what that could mean.

We focus on a fun, experimental approach to creating music collectively, with members making active decisions in building the texture of the sounds we create. Rehearsals take place weekly on Tuesdays at St Giles Church in Camberwell, where we will also perform our first gig on the 18th June.

Our repertoire is a mixed bag. Expect protest songs, pop mash ups, classical arias, jazzy improvisations and a lot of energy.

We will be supported by the London Community Laptop Orchestra and Camberwell Group and round it all off with an afterparty in the aisles with DJ Kolya.
